How do I move a lot of codes at once?

Short answer

Turn on selection mode, tick the entries you want or use Select all, then choose "Move to" and pick the destination. Dragging a selection onto a space or group in the sidebar does the same thing. Either way the move is announced with an Undo button, so a wrong destination costs one click rather than an afternoon.

Three ways to move, one result

The destination list is searchable

The dialog lists every space root and every group beneath it in tree order, with a search box above. Typing part of a group's name filters it, which matters once the tree is deeper than a screen. You can also create a new group from inside the dialog and land the selection in it in one go.

Nothing about the codes changes

A move changes filing and nothing else: the same secret, the same parameters, the same codes. If you have just imported a few hundred entries, import them into one holding space first and then move them out in batches — sorting after the fact is far quicker than making the hierarchy up in advance. The toast's Undo puts every entry back where it came from, even when they came from different places.
